Our beautiful sights are located in Krul Lake, Bear Lake, Hurricane Lake (North and South campgrounds), Karick Lake (North and South campgrounds), Coldwater Horse Stables, Camp Paquette, Clear Creek OHV Park, and Bone Creek. Camp hosts will be responsible for primarily cleaning the bathrooms and showers, keeping the camp sights clean, doing chlorine water level checks, and also providing campers with helpful information when needed with a smiling face. Most of our park locations are within 30-40 mins from Milton or Crestview Florida and only about 15 mins from Baker FL for groceries. Our camp sites are set among the towering longleaf pine stands, many are within a short walk from the waters edge. Josephine County Parks provides opportunities fir singles, couples, or teams to volunteer at one of our prime camping or day-use locations. Indian Mary Park is located about 25 minutes from Grants Pass and is on the Rogue River. Indian Mary is our most popular camping park and is very busy in the summer. Important: No cell phone reception is available at this location. There is a landline phone in the office available for emergencies that all hosts will have access to. Duties and daily responsibilities can vary, but typically includes managing reservations, helping campers, firewood and ice sales, emptying garbage cans, general landscaping including raking, weed eating and blowing leaves, cleaning fire pits and bathrooms/showers, checking restroom supplies, and discussing park rules and policies to visitors. Our Park Hosts help keep our parks clean and inviting by picking up litter, maintaining fire pits and campsites, and noting anything in disrepair. Park Hosts are on duty for 5 days per week which does include the weekend and must be present and available in the park on those days. The daily routine averages about 6 active hours each per person (+/- 1-2 hours depending on how busy the park is in peak/non-peak). As the owner my goal is that all the couples do not get overworked and enjoy the area and their time. I prefer the couples get together and determine the work schedule that fits their lifestyle. To give perspective the hosts continue to return year after year as this is a great place to live and work as couples are treated like family.

Our positions include: Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Office support
- Maintenance position to include grounds-keeping, taking care of rental boats, refueling customers boats, general maintenance of Cabins, Cottages, and rental RV's and other small projects .
- Housekeeping position involves cleaning and inventorying cabins/cottages/rv's upon guest checkout, taking care of public laundry facility and public restrooms.
- Office Support positions require some computer literacy as this role involves taking reservations. You must be able to multi task and have great customer service skills. Must be able to build a good rapport with those around you.

We are looking for upbeat, fun people who enjoying serving our valued guests, who have a positive attitude and are willing to be flexible in their job assignments. We offer a free 30 amp FHU site plus a competitive campground wage based on experience. A typical work week consists of 5 days per week, 6-8 hours a day per person. First 12 Hrs per week pays for site, any additional hours worked beyond the 12 hours will be paid hours We are remote so there is limited cell service though a new tower was recently installed in the area so cell coverage has become more reliable.
