We are a 318 lot resort, just 5 minutes from Sunny Sanibel Island and Fort Myers Beach, Florida. The responsibilities for the 2024 summer season (April 15-October 15) are checking lots before and after scheduled rentals; cleaning and trash removal of two bathrooms at the pool and four at the laundry building; cleaning the laundry and pool patio areas; dog walk area; assisting with mowing and trimming as needed, and reporting any maintenance issues to management. We ask for 5 days, 40 hours per week and pay $13 per hour, in addition to a 30x100 foot lot with Wi-Fi, cable, water, power (30 and 50 amp), sewer, and use of a golf cart included. Volunteers - Environmental Education In South Florida!

Volunteers needed in 6th grade Environmental Education Program 10/6/24 thru 4/6/25, full 6 months. Selection Priority is given to couples, but singles will also be considered. Main duty is to assist Park Rangers during curriculum-based environmental school field trips to the preserve or lead groups if needed. This includes group management, safety, and assisting students with the use of scientific equipment. Groups hike through cypress swamps, prairies and pinelands. For much of the season the hike will be in knee to hip deep water. Trips may be presented virtually on iPads as well.
Volunteers may also assist rangers with wet walks, canoe trips, festivals and special events in the preserve and neighboring communities and other projects when needed.
Couples must work a minimum of 32 hrs/week each. Workdays are typically weekdays but may vary each week and include some weekends for an occasional special program, event or festival. Volunteers will have time off during Thanksgiving and Christmas break. Volunteers have the opportunity to assist other divisions with projects, visit other agencies in the area and training opportunities.
Volunteers must have enthusiasm, enjoy and have experience working with children, good communication skills and flexibility with a changing work-week schedule. A teaching background and knowledge of natural science are a plus but not required. Must be able to hike sometimes in hip deep water on a rough trail in the South Florida heat with long periods of standing! Volunteers are subject to a Federal Government Background Check. This is not a paid position. An R.V. Pad with full hook ups in our volunteer campground is provided. Laundry facilities, pool and weight room are also available.

Pineglen Motorcoach & RV Park in Panama City Beach, FL is under new management and is seeking an enthusiastic couple with good work ethic to join our team from June 24, 2024, through Oct. 15, 2024. We are located about a mile from the beautiful Emerald Coast Beaches which are reported to be some of the most beautiful beaches in the world! We are close to Destin, Mexico Beach, Port St. Joe and not far from Tallahassee, Pensacola, and Apalachicola. One person will be responsible for the usual housekeeping duties of cleaning restrooms/shower houses and common areas. This person will also be responsible for some office duties such as making reservations, answering phones, checking in/out guests and must have a friendly and welcoming demeaner. The maintenance person should have basic electrical and plumbing skills, pool experience, knowledge of ground maintenance equipment and a willingness to help with various resort projects. This person will also be responsible for some housekeeping duties. Prefer someone who can multitask and is willing to go the extra mile should an emergency arise. The positions are for 20 hours each person with the same hours and days off together so that you may enjoy all the area has to offer or just relax together.
