About us:
We are a responsible and dependable couple that cares about our work. We are self motivated and highly skilled. We are 50 and 55 year old couple in good health and ready to work and enjoy new adventures. We do have a 12 lb terrier dog that is 12 yrs old and very well behaved.
Looking for something for 2025 summer season.
Rig Description:
2021 30ft Keystone Cougar 25RDS Travel Trailer, 1 slides, 50 amps.Our tow/towed vehicle is a 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually.
Skills:
Kevin- My objective is to be the best at what I do with the highest regard for quality work. I have the ability to know what needs to be done to secure a safe environment and the initiative to accomplish a productive work schedule. I have several years exp. In all phases of carpentry. I have over 20 years exp. In the construction trade with the knowledge of Reading and understanding blueprints, framing, decking, drywall hanging, concrete forming and pouring, demo work and all aspects of labor work, well rounded handyman with knowledge of general plumbing, electrical, painting, etc. I also have the ability to lead a productive safe working crew with great ability to maintain time schedule.
Sherry- i have a lot of experience with banking as I worked for a bank for several years. I also was self employed running a business doing acct receivables and payable. Did all invoices and payroll through Quick Books. I also worked at tropical smoothie for over 4 years and became a manager of the cafe. Managed employees inventory payroll and deposits. There are many many skills and jobs I have had including volunteer jobs and helped with summer camps on the side etc.
Workamping Experience:
We both have work camping experience. We have worked at 4 locations. One in ocala florida at Juniper springs. Kevin did mostly maintenance but he also built a pole barn on the property. Sherry worked at the store and also worked the gatehouse. Second location we worked in New Mexico in summer of 2021. Kevin worked the grounds and the gate. I worked in office answering phones and taking reservations on Campspot. I am very experienced with this software.Summer of 2023 we worked in Asheville NC and Nashville TN at the Nashville KOA. Sherry worked in office Kevin worked in maintenance. Kevin also fixed golf carts and KOA truck. He also installed AC in cabins and maintained breakers and water lines when renters needed something fixed at their site.
