Cabins by the Joe, on the St. Joe River in Avery, Idaho, seeks a dependable, honest, self-motivated couple as onsite camphosts for the 2027 season (May 7-Oct 17). Also: greet guests, answer questions, enforce park rules, light maintenance, lawn and flower care (watering, fertilizing, upkeep), haul garbage to local refuse, report supplies. Camp Tonkawa Springs RV Park, located in East Texas, is seeking volunteer couples and singles for the 2027 swim/ summer season and for winter 2027. They would be working in the office/housekeeping and maintenance positions. If you work in the office you will be answering the phones, making reservations, checking in campers, collecting fees for swimming etc. Maintenance will be escorting campers to their sites, cleaning sites and bath house, patrolling the swimming area etc. You will be working 1 week on and 3 weeks off for every month you are here. The week you are working, you will be on duty 8:00 am - 5:00 pm during winter months and 8:00 - 7:00 during summer swim season. You will be on call the rest of the time during the week that you work. In exchange of your volunteer time and help you will receive a free FHU site, and free laundry allotment. We are asking for a 3 or 6 month comment for these positions. No wages involved. Both positions share one full hookup RV site. Spend your season on the quiet side of the Smokies. We're a small, family-friendly campground along the river, minutes from Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with Cades Cove, Abrams Falls, and the Foothills Parkway close by for your days off. The shared site, including Wi-Fi, is provided in exchange for 17 hours a week from each person, over two full days (9am to 6pm). Hours beyond the 17 per person are paid hourly, DOE.
