Green River State Park is located in the Community of Green River Utah on the banks of the Green River. Green River State Park is a River Recreation Park mainly non power boats but some power boats. We Manage a 46 unit Campground and one cabin with a day use area at the boat launch. The Campground is shaded by mature Cottonwoods and has grass at all sites with two restrooms with shower facilities and a group use/day use restroom with no showers. The Park also has a 9 hole Golf Course and an 18 hole disc Golf Course manged separately at the park clubhouse.

Green River is located just off I-70 in Green River Utah and is centrally located to go exploring the surrounding country from Mountains reaching to over 12,000 feet to Canyons, National Parks and other State Parks. This is truly a Gateway to Adventure.

To the East is Grand Junction Colorado and the Colorado National Monument on I-70, 110 miles. To the Southeast on SR 191 is Moab Utah about 52 Miles, Arches and Canyonlands Island in the Sky National Parks and Dead Horse Point State Park are all within 55 miles by Moab. We are a 90 site park in Alexandria Bay, NY in the heart of the 1000 Islands. We are looking for a set of workampers for the 2020 season. Our season runs from Mothers day weekend (May) until Clayton's Punkin Chuckin festival in later Oct.
Currently we have 2 sets of workamping couples which will be returning for the 2020 season. Both sets normally arrive at the beginning of the season and leave at the end so I am looking for a couple who would be able to come in mid June and support the park until mid September however since you've worked off the site your welcome to stay until the closing.
Compensation:We offer both FHU and compensation. We ask the couple pay off the site through work and pay the same rate as the seasonal so it takes about 1-1.5 months to payoff. We pay each person hourly and the couples will work together on their days to work (5-6 hours each per day). As there are three couple you might work 2-3 days a week depending on the schedule you set with the other hosts (i.E the couples dictate their hours and what they want to work). Electric and WiFi is also included in the compensation however I'd like for each couple to work a minimum of 40 hours per month for the free electric. We take care of 6 campgrounds in the Hiawatha National Forest in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We are looking to fill Host Campground positions for the season. You must love people and the outdoors and have be able to work without much supervision. The campgrounds are owned by the Federal Forest, and we operate under a permit. Four campgrounds have electricity and two do not. We supply a golf cart, a place to park your camper, hook up if available, and monthly salary. Sun and Fun is also included.
You must clean up the sites after campers leave, mow grass, collect the money from the self-pay station, keep records, post reservations, clean bathrooms and help the visitors. The amount of hours vary depending on the time of year and which campground. We try to place people based on what they want to do and how busy they want to be.
Bay View is located on Lake Superior on one of the Great Lakes. It does not have utilities. It has 4 vault toilets and very little grass to mow. 24 sites.
Monocle Lake is on a inland lake it has water and electricity. It has 8 vault toilets and not a lot of grass to mow. 42 sites. Good boating and fishing.
Soldier Lake does not have electricity. It has 12 vault toilets. It has a lot of grass to mow. 45 sites
Lake Michigan is on a Great Lake, 8 vault toilets and fair amount of grass. 33 sites
Carp River has 4 vault toilets, water and electricity, fair amount of grass, 20 sites and it is on a good fishing river.
Brevoort Lake is a large inland lake with good fishing and boating. We have 2 host sites at this location. Water, electricity on both and one has sewer hook up also. It has flush bathrooms and 70 sites, a large amount of grass to mow.
We are open from May to Oct 15. Days off are depending on the campground and the time of year. You will learn your campground and know when you can take off for the entire day. Our church needs someone just to be on the property. It's in the beautiful valley beneath the Dripping Springs Mountains south of Globe and north of Winkelman, Arizona. We don't have hookups, so you'll need to be self-contained. (A gas station has facilities for RV dumping in Winkelman, about 15 minutes away.) We can provide water, but not electricity or septic.
Our neighbor charges $150/month to park on their ranch, but we are willing to let you work in exchange, except if you use electricity in the church. You'll need to pay for the utilities you use, but it's minimal. Or you can pay less and work, if you'd like.
What work would you do in place of the full amount monthly? Part of it can be to maintain the yard, or keep the church clean for Sunday services.
We need someone to look after the property, and hopefully help out some.
If you're handy, you could replace our lock, or paint the men's room and small hall. There are odds and ends, small jobs, if you'd like to do them in exchange for staying. Or if you're really skilled, you could help us find our septic holding tank underground. We hope to hook it back up someday and not use the temporary underground 55-gallon barrel. That's why you need to be self-contained, for now.
Or you could put up a small section of cyclone fence and a gate. It's up to you whether you want to pay or to work, and what level of skill you bring to this volunteer workamping opportunity.

The couple will provide Assistant Manager duties at 2 separate Skagway RV Parks, (Pullen Creek RV Park and Garden City RV Park), located less than a mile apart in the historic gold rush town of Skagway. Team members are expected to work 5 days a week simultaneously and can have the same consecutive 2-days off. Work hours are typically 12:00pm 7:00pm, but may vary as needed. Assistant Manager Duties include:
- Welcome and register guests using basic software
- Provide excellent customer service and interact with tourists
- Thoroughly clean and stock restroom facilities
- Take an active role in general upkeep of campground and facilities
- Maintain cleanliness of laundromat and lock it up each evening
- Additional duties as needed

- Are comfortable & competent using tablets, computers and basic reservation software.

Wanted a self motivated individual to be a Part time Park Ranger Aide at Green River State Park working 40 hours a week. Pay is $9.10 an hour the position will run through October. Job requires General Maintenance, Grounds Keeping (watering, mowing, weed whipping etc.), Fee Collection, Some Office Work, Cleaning of Restrooms and Cabin.

Green River State Park is located in the Community of Green River Utah on the banks of the Green River. Green River State Park is a River Recreation Park mainly non power boats but also some power boats. We are also on a migratory fly way and see many different birds in the area as they migrate north and south.

We Manage a 46 unit Campground and one cabin with a day use area at the boat launch. The Campground is shaded by mature Cottonwoods and has grass at all sites with two restrooms with shower facilities and a group use/day use restroom with no showers. The Park also has a 9 hole Golf Course and an 18 hole disc Golf Course manged separately at the at the park clubhouse.

Green River is located just off I-70 in Green River Utah and is centrally located to go exploring the surrounding country from Mountains reaching to over 12,000 feet to Canyons, National Parks and other State Parks. This is truly a Gateway to Adventure.

To the East is Grand Junction Colorado and the Colorado National Monument on I-70, 110 miles. To the Southeast on SR 191 is Moab Utah about 52 Miles, Arches and Canyonlands Island in the Sky National Parks and Dead Horse Point State Park are all within 55 miles by Moab. You also have as well the La Sal National Forest with Peaks above 12,000 ft. To the Southwest you have the San Rafael Swell and Reef with in 12 miles and a central location in the San Rafael Swell is 30 miles that takes you through the center of the Swell. Goblin Valley State Park is 52 mile South on SR 24 toward the South end of the Swell and to the North and West is Price Utah at 60 miles and the Manti National randyford@700utah.gov
