About us:
Susan recently retired from her position as a Manager of Operations and member Services of 22 years with gmr.
We are an honest, Dependable hard working couple. I have worked in the body shop industry most of my life. My last employment, I managed a busy multi-line collision facility. Increased revenue from 150K to 1.5M within the first year. Acquired and maintain a CDL.
We are both avid motorcycle riders (dual sport and adventure). We also enjoy hiking, boating, traveling, biking, fly fishing, and meeting new people. We love the fellowship of a good campfire, good people and good conversation.
We organize group motorcycle rides throughout the year that includes pavement and dirt.
We have two Pomeranian dogs. Both are less than 10lbs, well behaved and vaccinations up to date.
We recently purchased a 2023 evolution cart that we can bring with us as well.
Rig Description:
2022 40ft Grand Design Momentum 350G Toy Hauler 5th Wheel, 3 slides, 50 amps.Our tow/towed vehicle is a 2022 Ford F350 Dually.
Skills:
Kevin - General maintenance, grounds keeping and landscape design. Light electrical, security, plumbing and carpentry. Office Management and several software programs knowledge. Mechanically inclined. People person, organizational and attention to detail.
Susan - Customer Service, office management, software knowledge, retail, housekeeping, security, food service, general maintenance including - painting, plumbing, pool knowledge. Project management, marketing, systems implementation and budget accounting. Boat maintenance, docking, fueling, etc.
As seasoned travelers, we know what to expect from camp hosts. We have also organized and execute motorcycle group events that include camping accommodations, food and entertainment. References upon request.
Workamping Experience:
May 2024 - September 2024 Hansen Guest Ranch. Invited back for second season.
November 2023 - April 2024 Fish Eating Creek Campground in Palmdale Fl. Susan worked the office and camp store that includes check in/out, reservations and merchandise retail. Susan also works outside as needed for bathroom checks, cleaning, vessel rentals, site cleaning and any other work as needed. Kevin did security, maintenance, vessel rental, grounds maintenance, and any other work as needed.
Summer 2023 in Swan Valley Idaho at beautiful Hansen Guest Ranch that serves as a bed and breakfast. This site also caters to a children's cancer camp 4 times a year and a beautiful venue for weddings, receptions, reunions and large travel partys. Job duties include but not limited to grounds keeping, general maintenance, and anything else the owner requires for guest arrivals. Kevin operates the large machinery such as the John Deer tractor and zero turn while Susan takes care of the finer details. Susan was trusted with company credit card for necessary purchases and maintains petty cash. Assisted with building a yurt. We are truly enjoyed this adventure. We both feel we have made life long friends with the owners. Although this is not an RV park, we were compensated with full hook ups( which owner installed just for us to stay) and salary. We committed from May 2023 to September 2023.
