About me:
I love camping and the outdoors. I'm a real people person and outgoing. My ideal job would be as an activities person. I was a Girl Scout leader for 12 years and love working with children. I've worked in hospitals for 20 years as a Payroll Specialist. I have experience with Campground Master and Campspot. We have a rescue dog she is part dachshund and part jack russel. We would be open to FHU only or FHU and salary.
Rig Description:
2007 32ft Keystone Laredo 5th Wheel, 2 slides, 30 amps.Our tow/towed vehicle is a 2008 Dodge Ram.
Skills:
I am certified with Camp Spot campground system. I last worked at Zooland Family Campground in North Carolina thru November 1sr 2022. I worked at Shenandoah National Park for 3 seasons. 2019-2021. I worked the front desk at Skyland. I have worked at campgrounds for the two years prior to Skyland as front desk person, lawn care, ran a restaurant, maintenance, and everything in between! I retired after 20 years as as a Payroll Specialist, and have worked in the past as a waitress, bar tender, senior caregiver, office manager. I am really good with computers. I have experience with Campground Master, Campspot, Kronos and sms.
My husband retired from Chrysler with over 40 years as a mechanic. He also worked as an electrician for a time, but is unable to work.
Workamping Experience:
I'm working now at Spacious Skies Country Oaks Campground in Dorothy, NJ as a front desk associate. I worked the front desk, reservations and the store at Zooland campground using Camp Spot software for the 2022 season. I also ran some activities there. Worked at Skyland in Shenandoah National Park 3 seasons, 2019 thru 2021. I worked the front desk checking in guests and would occasionally clean rooms or hostess in the restaurant. We worked in a pizza parlor at Paradise Valley Campground summer of 2018. Duties included taking cash, balancing the days receipts, making and serving pizza and cleaning the restaurant. We worked for 4 months at Texas T Campground in Tennessee the summer of 2017. There, we worked the office, using Campground Master, did maintanence and lawn care. I worked for Blake Hospital in Bradenton as a Payroll Manager from 1987 until 1996. I then worked as a Senior Payroll Specialist at Sarasota Memorial Hospital from 1996 until 2016. I've worked in several restaurants and with the elderly. I worked with Campground Master.
My husband worked with Firkins Chrysler for 35 years and then opened his own repair shop for 5 years.
We have excellent references from both campgrounds.
