Job Duties: Camp Host
Compensation: FHU and Salary
We are a small but beautiful new RV park, looking for a camp host for the 2021 season (March-November). Cedar Canyon Retreat is nestled is in a wooded canyon, but just 5 minutes from downtown Cedar City. We are excited about our 2nd year, and we need a person or couple who will build on our reputation for excellent customer service. You will be responsible for managing 20 RV sites, several tent sites, and a 4-bedroom cabin. Tasks will include the front office, phone reservations, cleaning restrooms, helping guests who are having difficulty with their sites or equipment, concierge to local activities, and basic grounds maintenance. Cabin housekeeping is not included.
Our preferred candidates will have excellent knowledge and experience with RVs, a friendly personality who wants to help people, self-motivated, and full of ideas on how to make our park better. Handyman or gardening skills are a valuable option, as is sufficient regional knowledge to guide guests or conduct evening programs.
Hours: Part-time (20 hrs/wk) during the spring and late fall, full-time (40 hrs/wk) Memorial Day-Labor Day. This will include scheduled hours and on-call hours. Living on-site with your own RV is required.
Compensation: Starting $8/hr plus a free site with utilities included. Increased pay depending on additional skills and strong performance.
