Spend the summer with us at the Wolford Campground and Marina and earn $2400 each month while enjoying a full hook-up and all the amenities offered at our family-friendly campground that is situated on a beautiful reservoir nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The Wolford Campground and Marina is located seven miles from the rural town of Kremmling, Colorado which lies in a scenic valley surrounded by mountain ranges and its iconic cliffs. At an elevation of 7,364 feet, it boasts a rich western heritage, salt-of-the-earth locals, and a wide array of recreational opportunities. In addition, Kremmling is in close proximity to other popular destinations in Colorado: Rocky Mountain National Park, Winter Park, Steamboat Springs, Silverthorne, Vail, and Glenwood Springs. During your days off, in addition to exploring the surrounding areas, you can enjoy the day beach or use a boat from our small fleet at the marina if they are not reserved. You can also fish the reservoir that is well stocked with trout and salmon, and if you catch a Northern Pike you can earn a $20 bounty per fish - no limit on those!
This position is for 1 of the two camphosting positions we have at Wolford. The candidate we are seeking must be able bodied to clean and maintain our campsites, Rec Area, and restrooms, as well as cheerful, respectful, and work well with the public and other employees. Mid May 2025 thru Mid September 2025 - FHU & hourly pay position available for the right experienced, motivated, friendly couple or Individual. This is mainly a housekeeping position and will entail cleaning our cabins and bath house. Some office help may be needed at times. 18 hours of work will be required each week in exchange for the FHU site. Any additional hours over and above would be paid at $15.00 per hour. We cannot guarantee how many paid hours will be available each week due to work load, best if you have another income source. FHU includes 30/50 Amp, water, sewer, trash & Wi-Fi. Large site, 55 x 28. We ask that you are physically capable of performing the work described above and are willing to work over and above the required 18 hours per week if needed. We are a smaller park with 18 RV sites and 11 cabins, situated on 6 acres in the beautiful Rio Grande National Forrest at an elevation of 8200 FT. We are 17 miles from Wolf Creek Pass and 42 miles from Pagosa Springs. We are an historic site for the town of South Fork as our cabins and property were built in 1908 and housed mill workers that worked next door at the historic Galbreath Tie and Timber Company. Lots to do in the area. Hundreds of miles of off road trails, mountain & rail biking, hiking, river rafting, tubing, golfing and some of the best gold medal water river and lake fishing Colorado has to offer. Hot springs within 40 miles to the east and west of us. South Fork, CO is a town of 500 permanent residents but grows to about 10 thousand during the summer months. The main duty will be housekeeping so we're looking for folks that enjoy cleaning and are people friendly. Office/store duties, landscaping, grounds and building maintenance duties may be available at times. 7 cabins, 32 RV sites, general store on 10 shaded acres near Williams Reservoir, the Piedra River, Piedra Falls and the Weminuche Wilderness. Remote mountain setting 18 miles, 11.5 of which is gravel, from the highway and 20 miles NW of downtown Pagosa Springs. Generally 2 to 3 consecutive days off each week to enjoy the area. Work 12 hrs per wk for 30amp FHU site. First 12 Hrs per week pays for site, any additional hours worked beyond the 12 hours will be paid hours We are remote so there is limited to no cell service. Wi-Fi is available however due to our remote location our internet can be unreliable at times so streaming videos is not possible. Store discount, free laundry. Must be in excellent health and able to work at 8,000 ft. Computer proficiency required. We will teach you how to use the ReserveAmerica POS application. Camp store responsibilities include checking in guests, making reservations, selling POS items, answering phone calls, assisting customers, stocking, cleaning, and all other aspects of keeping our customers happy and our camp store running smoothly. You will also work outdoors fulfilling the camp host responsibilities which include cleaning camp sites, stocking/tidying bathrooms, filling propane tanks, weeding, and general upkeep of the properties.

In addition, we have opportunities that would allow one individual from a couple who has strong customer service and computer skills to work as a Pro Shop Attendant at one of our local golf courses.
